There will be a tribute to Howard Zinn on Saturday, May 15 at 2 PM at Old South Church 645 Boylston St., Boston.

We are sponsoring a road race on Saturday, May 22 at UMass Boston to benefit the Mai Tam House of Hope in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and the Iraq Water Project. A description is here, the press release is here, and a handout is here.

The third annual Memorial Day For Peace will be held at Christopher Columbus Park on Monday May 31 at 1 PM. The flyer is here.

Meetings

We meet on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 15 Sellers St. in Central Square Cambridge. Enter on Sellers St. and ring the bell to be admitted. A map of the area is here, and it shows parking lots nearby. See the note on the left under VFP meeting, and you can click on the various points in blue on the left and it shows you where they are. There are other lots on Bishop Allen Dr. the other side of Prospect St., and the Green St. garage on the other side of the square.
